Springtime Tallahassee!

Adam, Anna, and I had a great time at her first Springtime Tallahassee this past weekend! Anna loved the parade, especially the marching bands, and watched all the floats and funny characters go by. She collected a lot of beads that she held on to tightly, and had her first taste of cotton candy- yummy! She brushes her teeth now, with a little assistance, so we decided it was okay!

Peek-a-boo!

When we were out to dinner with my parents and our friend Edna last week, Anna decided it was a good time to play peek-a-boo!

Fun-Filled Saturday!

Anna and I try out being flowers during Saturday morning story-time at the library.

Listening to the FAMU Marching 100 play during the grape stomping at the Florida Wine Festival downtown.

Checking out the dinosaurs at the Brogan museum!

Curiousity

I love the curiosity that Anna has about everything, every day!

Our Little Leprechaun!

Anna wants lots of books...

but finally selects her favorite Christmas book, of course!

Tallahassee Museum

This little gator was one of the animals we saw!

You can see that Anna was very interested in the animals...

...but she wasn't sure she wanted to touch the alligator. I don't blame her!

What a nice way to spend an early-spring afternoon!

A Few More Birthday Pictures!

Anna has her very own drum now, and she knows how to use it!

Anna and her Daddy, at the end of a fabulous first birthday party. This past year has gone by so fast, yet I feel like I can remember every day. It has been an amazing year, having the opportunity to watch this little person change and grow, and I am so grateful to have Anna in my world! Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us and who have been such a great source of support and love for Anna, Adam, and me. We love and appreciate you all!

Fun with Friends!

Anna had the chance to practice her cake-eating skills before her actual birthday while on a playdate with some friends. I wish I had gotten a picture of when her little friend Claire leaned over and kissed her on the head- precious!
