Daddy's Home!

Anna just started saying two words together on Sunday, and today she said her first sentence- "Daddy's home!" It was so sweet! Maybe spending the weekend with Cody inspired her!

Anna's silly face!

Anna's mad face (doesn't look much like her real mad face)!

A Wonderful Weekend!

We had a great weekend at the beach with Jason, Keri, and Cody! Anna and Cody were so sweet together.

Navigating the aisles of Publix.

Anna's first popsicle- she loved it and made a huge mess!

Cody leading the way to the restaurant- adorable!

We had a great beach day on Saturday. The weather was perfect and we all enjoyed playing in the sand and water. The kids had a lot of fun with the wagon, and Cody kept getting out to pull Anna along. It is so neat to watch your friends grow into parents and to get to know their children. I think Anna and Cody will make good friends too!

The Pumpkin Patch

We had a great time visiting the pumpkin patch this year. Anna picked out a little pumpkin and Adam and I picked a big one. Anna likes to point at any marks on the pumpkins and say "Boo-boo". Every morning we drive by the patch and she says "Pumpkins! Boo-boo!" Today at preschool they carved a pumpkin and put the insides in a bowl for the children to feel. Anna's teacher said she loved it and kept playing with it long after everyone else lost interest!

'Puter

Anna loves computers. She likes to touch the buttons, watch Sesame Street songs, and look at pictures and videos of family and friends. Sometimes she wants the computer so much, she throws a little fit, but Grandma and Papa were kind enough to give her this real keyboard for her very own!

Ah-choo!

The other day I sneezed and Anna looked at me and started laughing. Then she pretended to sneeze and said "ah-choo" and started cracking up. Now at least a few times a day, she fake sneezes and laughs. I love this child! (And she seems more like a child everyday, not so much a baby anymore. )

Our Exciting Weekend!

Even though I usually make posts about Anna, Adam and I had a special weekend together this past weekend so I wanted to share these pictures. As our anniversary gift to each other back in August, we decided to spend a weekend in Orlando and go see the new Harry Potter part of Islands of Adventure. We had so much fun- it was both exciting and relaxing and a good break from how hectic things have been the past few months.

Our first day at Universal Studios.

Halloween Horror Nights is going on so there were some Halloween decorations up around the park. I liked all these pumpkins.

Even though Anna wasn't with us, I thought she would have liked this Dora!

That night we had a romantic dinner at Emeril's Tchoup Chop restaurant. Our friend Amy sent us a bottle of rose' champagne (Thank you again Amy!), the food was divine, and they wrote "Happy 9th Anniversary" in chocolate on the dessert plate. All in all, it was a perfect evening!

After dinner we met up with Amy and friends downtown, which was very fun since we don't get to do that too much anymore. And then, the next day, Harry Potter!

It was beautiful and the main ride inside of Hogwart's was spectacular!

That night we went to a restaurant at City Walk to watch the Gator game, but that was kind of the low-point of the weekend (If you watched the game, you know why). So we went and watched a little karaoke, which is always fun, got a great night's sleep to make up for the night before, and on Sunday morning we were rested and ready to see Anna, who had a great weekend with her Grandma and Papa! It's fun to get-away every once in a while, but then it's always so good to get back home.
